The Xewkija Windmill (known in Maltese as Il-Mitħna tat-Tmien Kantunieri or the Eight-Cornered Windmill) is the oldest surviving windmill on the island of Gozo, Malta. Commissioned in 1710 by Grand Master Ramon Perellos y Rocafull, this historic landmark stands prominently on the main road connecting the Mġarr Harbour to Victoria (Rabat). After a period of neglect, it underwent a comprehensive, high-detail restoration to return its historic woodwork, stone tower, and milling sails back to their original glory.
